Hi, I’m Natalie, The NeuroBalance Coach. In my 40s, I discovered that ADHD wasn’t a flaw—it was my superpower waiting to be harnessed. My journey has taken me from feeling out of place in rigid corporate structures to fully embracing self-acceptance. I’ve been the corporate rebel, the creative misfit, and the “neurospicy” soul searching for equilibrium. Now, I help people like you find their rhythm and thrive through thought work and coaching. My approach is rooted in compassion, creativity, a touch of irreverence, and zero judgment. Because life isn’t about conforming—it’s about discovering and dancing to your own unique beat.

What is Thought Work?

Thought work is the process of becoming conscious of, examining, and intentionally shifting your thoughts and beliefs to cultivate a more empowering and positive mindset. It involves recognizing the profound impact that your thoughts have on your emotions, behaviors, and overall experiences. By becoming more aware of your thought patterns, you can identify and challenge limiting beliefs and replace them with ones that support your goals and well-being.

This practice often utilizes techniques like mindfulness, reframing perspectives, self-compassion, and cognitive restructuring. Thought work empowers you to better manage emotional responses, reduce stress and anxiety, boost self-confidence, and lead a more intentional, fulfilling life. It’s frequently used in coaching and therapeutic settings to help individuals break free from self-limiting patterns and develop healthier, more productive ways of thinking.

How Thought Work Transformed My Life

Before I discovered thought work, anxiety ruled my life. I’d wake up each day with a knot in my stomach, dreading what lay ahead, and my mind filled with negative self-talk. Small incidents, like getting cut off in traffic, would spiral into hours of rage or frustration. Despite trying countless self-care routines and meditation practices, nothing seemed to stick—I believed they simply “didn’t work for me.”

I also struggled with external judgments. When a former caregiver publicly criticized my household, I spent months obsessing over her words and replaying our interactions. Today, I handle such situations differently—I recognize that her thoughts are her own, separate from my truth, and I can move forward without being weighed down.

Now, life feels entirely different. Anxiety is rare, and when it appears, I have tools to manage it emotionally and intellectually. I still experience deep emotions, but I channel them into achieving bigger dreams while staying grounded in the present. Self-care is no longer an afterthought; it’s a priority. This newfound presence allows me to be fully there for my family without being consumed by anxiety and self-doubt. Above all, I feel authentic—free to be myself, access my creativity, and trust my inner wisdom.

The real transformation came from changing how I spoke to myself. No amount of yoga, therapy, or other modalities could truly help until I chose to replace harsh self-criticism with self-compassion. Once I did, everything else fell into place. Now, I approach life with confidence and authenticity, and I’m excited to share these skills with you so you can unlock your true potential.
